ELLA PETER cemetery #82 Funeral services were held yesterday for Mrs. Ella Peter, 69, at St. Peter E & R church in the Town of Rhine. Rev. E. Oppermann officiated at the services and burial was made in the church cemetery. She died at Memorial hospital early Sunday morning. She was born Ella Jochmann in the Town of Schleswig Oct 26, 1888, daughter of the late Traugott and Wilhelmina Hauer Jochmann. She received her education in the district school of the township and was confirmed in 1905 at St. Peter Reformed church, Kiel. She was married to John Peter of the Town of Plymouth Oct. 31, 1907. The couple lived in Plymouth several years and then farmed in the Town of Rhine for the next 42 years. Her husband died in February, 1947, and the past two years she had been living in Kiel. She was a member of the Ladies’ Aid Society of the church. JOHN PETER cemetery #82 John Peter, aged 68, a resident of the town of Rhine, passed away at his home early Friday morning after a lingering illness. The deceased was born in Germany Oct. 24, 1878, and came to this country in 1897, settling in the town of Rhine. August 31, 1907 he was married to Miss Ella Jochmann of the town of Schleswig. Several years after their marriage they farmed a plot of land near Plymouth, moving to their present homestead 32 years ago. Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Norman (Edna) Rabe, town of Schleswig, and Miss Erna at Kiel; one son, Arno, of the town of Rhine; six grandchildren, and several brothers and sisters in Germany. One daughter died in 1910. Mr. Peter served as elder for 14 years in the St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed church in the town of Rhine. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed Church, with the Rev. Paul Thomas officiating. JOSEPH PETERIK (d. 1917) cemetery #44 DEATH CLAIMS JOSEPH PETERIK AFTER SHORT ILLNESS Well Known Young Business Man Victim of Pneumonia at Hospital Sunday, Eagles to Officiate at Burial Joseph Peterik, one of the city’s well known young business men, for years engaged in conducting a motorcycle and bicycle shop on Buffalo street, died at the hospital Sunday afternoon, aged 40. News of the death of Mr. Peterik came as a great shock to a large circle of friends who had no thought that his condition was critical. Taken ill a week ago when pneumonia developed from a severe cold which he contracted while making a long motorcycle trip, Mr. Peterik was taken to the hospital Tuesday and his condition continued to grow worse until Sunday when death came. Mr. Peterik came to this city with his parents at the age of 18 and shortly after opened a bicycle repair shop and later located at 710 Buffalo street where he also made his home. He was born July 7, 1877. Decedent is survived by a widow and three children, the oldest 14 years; his mother, four sisters and two brothers, one brother John and a sister, Mrs. W.C. Kadow, residing here. The funeral will be held under auspices of the Eagles of which he was a member. ALLEN M. PETERMAN cemetery #43 Allen M. Peterman, age 66, of 1908 Marshall St., Manitowoc, died on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers. He was born on Dec. 11, 1941, in Manitowoc, son of the late Frank and Anna (Nemetz) Peterman. On April 29, 1961, he married the former Carol Dushek at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Al was a foreman at Mirro Company, Manitowoc. He retired in 2003, after 43 years of employment at all the plants. He enjoyed Texas Hold-em with his friends, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Al was proud of his 1960 Thunderbird, and enjoyed collecting 45 records and juke boxes. DOUGLAS L. PETERS cemetery #89D TWO RIVERS, Wis. -- Douglas L. Peters Jr., age 35, of Two Rivers, Wis., died Sunday afternoon, Jan. 30, 2011, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Doug was born July 3, 1975, in Rockland, son of Shelley (Chase) Bay and the late Douglas L. Peters Sr. In 1997 he graduated from Maine Maritime Academy, in Castine, with a bachelor of science in power engineering technology. On Aug. 24, 2002, he married Amy Klein at St. Luke Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Doug was employed at Point Beach Nuclear Plant as a mechanic electrician. Doug was a gifted athlete and enjoyed sports, but his passion was spending time with his family and friends. He always had a unique way of making those around him feel special. All those who got to know him were truly honored and will be forever changed. (Survivors omitted for privacy) He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Peters Sr.; paternal grandparents Donald and Myrtle Peters; maternal grandmother Dora Chase; and grandfather-in-law Arnold Pamperin. He had been a resident of the city seventeen years and was well known, having formerly been engaged in making delivery of kerosene oil about the city. HELEN E. PETERS cemetery #44 Helen E. Peters, age 82, a resident of the Kewaunee Care Center, and formerly of 3511 S. 19th St., Manitowoc, entered into eternal life on Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at her residence. Helen was born on Oct. 28, 1925, to the late William and Violet Popelka Ouradnik. On Oct. 28, 1948, Helen married Eugene Peters. He preceded her in death on Nov. 2, 1957. Helen worked as a welder in the Sturgeon Bay shipyards during World War II, and later was employed with the SuperValue grocery store on 10th Street in Manitowoc. Helen was a long-time member of St. John's United Church of Christ Woman's Guild. She was active with the Manitowoc County 4-H Clubs, and also was a leader for the Silver Creek 4-H Club where she taught leather crafts. Helen was a long time volunteer at Peter's Pantry and the Holiday House in Manitowoc. Helen had a passion for plants and flowers, loved feeding and watching birds and animals, was an avid hunter, and also had a special love for horses. She loved to ride her horse Rusty in various parades. She enjoyed participating in local flea markets and craft shows where she sold plants and her handmade leather products. Above all, she was a devoted mother who cherished the time she was able to spend with her family. (Survivors omitted for privacy.) Erwin passed away a year later(Dec.13,1980). Laura was the last child of 3 to pass away(Frank & Dora were her siblings). PETERS cemetery #44 MARTIN PETERS, 73, PASSES AWAY AFTER A BRIEF ILLNESS A complication of diseases claimed the life of Martin Peters, 73, late yesterday after a serious illness of only a short time. He died at 1421 Division steet where he has lived for the past twelve years. The deceased was born in Holland on October 16, 1857. On September 17, 1882 he married Miss Anna Coonen and later came to this country where he has resided for the past thirty years. He is survived by his wife, six sons, John, Charles, Bert, Joseph, Eugene and Roy: three daughters, Mrs. Leo Adelmann, Mrs. Alec Pariseau, and Mrs. William Sheadore, and one brother, George Peters of Green Bay. Seven grandchildren also survive him. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the Frazier Mortuary tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will take place at Eveergreen cemetery with Rev. SOPHIA PETERS cemetery #44 From the Manitowoc Pilot, November 30, 1905: After a lingering illness of a year's duration, due to a complication of diseases, Mrs. Sophia Peters, widow of the late Fred Peters, responded to the final summons last Saturday night at 11 o'clock, at the home of her son, Ferdinand Peters, 807 North Eighth street. The decedent was sixty-eight years old. She was born and reared in Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany; and was married to Fred Peters in her native land in the year 1867. Her maiden name was Sophia Schroeder. The couple had born to them five children, of whom two died as infants, in Germany. The family came to America in 1884 and immediately located in Manitowoc. In the following year they removed to Neshota, where they remained for about a year and a half, after which they returned to Manitowoc and built a home on North Eighth street, where the decedent had resided continuously until several weeks ago, when her son Ferdinand removed her to his home, where she breathed her last Saturday night. Her husband died about three years ago. Mrs. Sophia Peters leaves three children to mourn her loss. They are: Ferdinand of this city, E.J. Peters of Chicago, and T.C. Peters of Milwaukee. Two sisters also survive. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Machmiller officiating and interment being at Evergreen cemetery. All the children of the departed were present at the funeral. CHRISTIAN PETERSEN (d. 1918) TWO FORMER LOCAL RESIDENTS DIE AT MILWAUKEE Christian Peterson(sic), former city assessor and pioneer resident of the city, died on Sunday at the age of 90 years. The body will arrive here tonight or tomorrow morning and funeral services will be held from the home of Edward Peterson, 615 North Tenth street, Tuesday afternoon, under auspices of Chickerming lodge, I.O.O.F. Mr. Peterson was born at Copenhagen, Denmark on August 23, 1828 and served in the Danish army in the war of 1849. He came to Manitowoc in 1851 and was married on July 12, 1863. Mr. Peterson was for a number of years the city assessor and was well and favorably known. He is survived by his aged widow, two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Schwab of Milwaukee and Miss Agnes Peterson of Lincoln City, Neb., and by two sons, Edward J. and Theodore of this city. WALTER PETERSEN cemetery #44 Walter G. Petersen, 64, veteran of World War I and a Manitowoc resident for 15 years, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at his Turner Avenue home Sunday noon. He previously had been in good health. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. T. Parry Jones of Sheboygan will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Mr. Petersen was born March 10, 1890, at Chicago and moved to Athelstane in Marinette County in 1906. Later he took up residence in North Dakota where he entered military service in World War I, serving with the 338th Field Artillery in France. He came to Manitowoc in 1940 and in 1948 married the former Eva Clark. The couple established residence on Turner Avenue, Rt. 2, Two Rivers. For seven years he was employed at the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc., and more recently was working as a carpenter for the Lakeside Machine Co. of Manitowoc. Carol was born on Dec. 4, 1950, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Roy A. and Gladys M. (Roberts) Peterson. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1969 from Lincoln High School, Manitowoc. Carol has been employed with the Manitowoc Police Department as court clerk for the past 39 years. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. She is a member of AFSCME Local 731 of which she was currently serving as vice president. Survivors include one daughter, one brother and sister-in-law, nieces and nephews. GEORGE C. PETERSON G.C. Peterson Is Dead at 67 Manitowoc - George C. Peterson, 67, veteran businessman, died Sunday morning at Memorial Hospital. He had been in ill health five days. Mr. Peterson, who resided at 931 N. 12th St. had been in the sheet metal, roofing and furnace business for almost 40 years. The present George C. Peterson Sheet Metal Works, 304 N. Ninth St., was started by Mr. Peterson and a Mr. Rayan in 1921. Mr. Peterson took over sole operation in 1922. He came to Manitowoc at the age of 16 and was employed by Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc. eventually becoming foreman of its sheet metal shop. He was born in the Town of Gibson Nov. 19, 1892, son of the late Ralph and Caroline Peterson Peterson. Mr. Peterson married Julia Zankle at Manitowoc Oct. 27, 1915. He was a member of the Manitowoc Elks Lodge, Manitowoc Aerie of Eagles, served as past president of Manitowoc County Fish and Game Protective Assn., was a member of the Manitowoc chapter of the Izaak Walton League, other sportsmen clubs and Lutheran Brotherhood of First Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Thomas K. Wyseman of Seville, Spain; a brother, Walter of Manitowoc; four sisters, Mrs. L.E. Johnson of Marinette, Mrs. Lill Wall of Chicago and Mrs. Alma Hendries and Mrs. Mabel DeCavit of Detroit; and a granson. Mrs. Peterson was born 22 Dec. 1840 in Valders, Norway, and had been a resident in Tisch Mills for many years. About a year ago Mr. Peterson sold his property in Tisch Mills and moved to Manitowoc with his family. The deceased is survived by her husband and 8 children. MARY PETERSON (d. 1912) cemetery #44 FINDS WIFE DEAD IN YARD ON RETURN HOME Mrs. Walter Peterson, Dies Suddenly at Home in Marshfield BRINGS BODY TO CITY FOR BURIAL Absent from home for an hour, Walter Peterson, a former Manitowoc man returned to his home at Marshfield Friday to find his wife dead, her body in the yard where she had been stricken by heart failure and had died alone and unattended. News of the death of Mrs. Peterson reached here Sunday and the body was brought to the city for burial today. Mrs. Peterson was in her usual health when her husband left home Friday afternoon to attend to some busines affairs. Mr. Peterson returned home in an hour to discover the lfeless (sic) body on the ground near the house and physicians who were called said heart failure had caused almost instant death. It is supposed that Mrs. Peterson had been working about the yard and due to over exertion or some other cause the attack was brought on. Mrs. Peterson was 34 years of age and was formerly Miss Mary Heiser, of Gibson this county. After marriage she removed with her husband to Marshfield and had since resided there. Besides the husband, one child, a daguhter (sic), aged four survives. One brother John Heiser this city and two brothers in Clark county and three sisters one at Gibson and two at Oconto survive. PETER PETERSON (d. 1943) cemetery #44 Peter A. Peterson, first president of the Manitowoc Central Labor Council, died this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Bernice Schmidtmann, 834 South 18th street, after a long illness. Mr. Peterson was a member of the Iron Moulders union for 49 years and was a charter member of its local here, No. 301. He learned the moulders trade here as a young man and followed it until his retirement three years ago. For 26 years prior to his retirement he was employed at the Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry. RALPH PETERSON cemetery #27 From Der Nord Westen, 26 Feb. 1903: Ralph Pederson, a farmer in Town Gibson, was in Manitowoc on business on Mon. He started home in the afternoon, and as he was traveling along the Neshoto road about 4 miles from Manitowoc, his horses shied and ran off, overturning the heavy wagon on top of him. It was later found that 3 ribs were broken and 2 pierced his lungs so that he died quickly. The body was taken to Manitowoc and the coroner's jury returned a verdict of accidental death. Pederson was a well-to-do man, age 56, who leaves a wife and 9 children.
STANLEY PETERSON cemetery #44 Stanley Peterson Sudden Victim of a Heart Attack Stanley Peterson, 40, former fifth ward alderman and active for years in Manitowoc's Citizenship day programs and a movement for a course in municipal government for city officials, died suddenly this morning at the Holy Family hospital of a heart attack. Mr. Peterson, who for the past three years has been a clerk in the navy supply office at the Manitowoc Ship Building Company, complained of feeling ill last night at his home, west of (Photo) the city on route 5, Manitowoc. He was moved to the hospital but seemed slightly improved this morning. He suffered a sudden ????? shortly after eight o'clock and ?? ??? a few minutes. Funeral Thursday Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home, the Rev. Paul ?????? officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. He was born in this city in 1903, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Peterson and was educated in city schools. He took employment at the Burger Boat Company and later operated a filling station at South Ninth and Quay streets. Three years ago he took a position as clerk in the navy supply office at the ship yards. When a young man Mr. Peterson took an interest in civic affairs. He was one of the early supporters of Citizenship day, observed in Manitowoc in 19?9 for the first time. He was elected alderman from the fifth ward in 1933 and served six years until 1939. In 1937 he launched a plan for establishment of a school for city officials, which received the endorsement of President Clarence Dykstra of the University of Wisconsin and Dean Frank Holt, head of the university's extension division. Wife Survives Former Alderman Peterson told meetings called to discuss this program that city officials could gain much valuable information on municipal procedure through a special 30-weeks course each year. He was also active in safety programs in the city and during his term in the council served several years on the City Safety commission. He was a member of the Shipbuilders and Boilermakers local No. 443. In 1941 Mr. Peterson married Selma Fischer of this city. WALTER H. PETERSON cemetery #44 Walter H. Peterson, 84, of 1426 N. Eighth Street, died Tuesday morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, following a short illness. Mr. Peterson was born June 9, 1888, in the Town of Gibson, son of the late Ralph and Caroline Peterson Peterson. In 1907, he married Mary Heiser at Gibson. She preceded him in death in 1912. Nov. 29, 1941, he married Mabel Christman at Sheboygan. The couple resided at Manitowoc until 1952, then resided in California for eight years, returning to Manitowoc in 1960. He was employed at George Peterson Sheet Metal Co. for 32 years, retiring in 1950. Prior to then he was a city fireman, driving the horse-drawn type fire rig. LEANDER P. PETRIE cemetery #83 Leander P. Petrie, 64, of Kiel, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. He was born on May 9, 1934, in Malone, a son of Frank and Dorothy Schmitz Petrie. He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956. On Sept. 20, 1958, he married Betty Olig at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mount Calvary. The couple had celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with family and friends. Leander owned and operated Kiel Feed Mill from 1960 to 1983, and owned Lee's Pallet Mfg. in Kiel from 1983 until his retirement in 1996. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sturgeon spearing and bird watching, and was an avid sportsman. He was a former member and supporter of many local conservation clubs. He spent many hours with his dog, Tasha, his friend and companion. Survivors include his wife, Betty; his children, 10 grandchildren, one sister-in-law, other relatives and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Francis Petrie. Services: A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. George Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake. The Rev. MERCHANT DEAD Well Known Resident of Rosecrans Dies at Age of 55 A resident of the county since he was six months of age Albert Petska, well known business man of the county who has been conducting a general store at Rosencrans died at his home at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon aged 55 years. The funeral will be held Saturday morning from the home at 9 o'clock with services at St. Wenzel's Catholic church at 10 o'clock at Greenstreet. Mr. Petska had been in ill health for some time. Albert Pestska was born in Bohemia March 10, 1869 and in November the same year came to America and Manitowoc county with his parents. The family settled near Rosecrans where he grew to manhood and thirty-one years ago was married to Anna Hammernick, the widow who with four children, Edward and Albert, Mrs. Fielder and Mrs. Peck, all of Rosecrans, survive him. A son, Frank, died a number of years ago. Four brothers and four sisters also survive him. They are Frank of Maribel, James of Green Bay, Leonard of Kellnersville and John of Chicago; Mrs. Klika of Green Bay, Mrs. Proffant of LaPorte, Ind., Mrs. Vrba of Pasadens, Cal., and Mrs. Francis Fara, LaPorte, Ind. Mr. Petska was prominent in the affairs of his home and served in many official capacities, including that of county supervisor a number of terms. He was well liked and a companionable man who won and held friends. He was successful in his business and progressive. Mr. Petska had conducted the merchandise business at Rosecrans for twenty- one years and was one of the best known men in the county. His marriage to Elisa Balz took place May 16, 1901. They lived in Kiel where he was employed at the J. B. Laun Co. and at Stoelting Bros. Co. Mr. Petzold was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel. He also was a former active member of the Kiel Fire Department and was an honorary member at the time of his death. GUSTAVE PETZOLD cemetery #82 Death came as a relief to Gustave Petzoldt(sic) on Thursday, February 3rd, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Wm. Diefenthaler, Sr., in the town of New Holstein, following a stroke. He was born in Germany, September 24, 1850, and came to this country at the age of 9 years, settling with his parents near Sheboygan. In 1874 he was married to Pauline Goebel. The couple made their home near Sheboygan; after three years they moved on a farm near Millhome, in the town of Schleswig, where they lived until 14 years ago, when they sold their farm to their son William and moved to this city. His wife died 7 years ago. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Wm. Rohde, Sr., and Mrs. J. Kappelmann of Sheboygan; three children, Carl of this city, William of town Schleswig, and Mrs. Wm. Diefenthaler, Sr., of town New Holstein; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Monday at the Reformed church officiated by Rev. O. Saewert. The remains were interred in the Kiel cemetery.

Her maiden name was Katherine Buchholz. She was born in the Town of Schleswig, the daughter of the late Joseph and Christine Rades Buchholz. She attended the district school and she was married to William Petzold of the town of Schleswig on Nov. 8, 1902. The couple operated the Petzold homestead farm in the town of Schleswig until their retirement in 1946 when they moved to Kiel. Survivors include her husband, four sisters, Mrs. Ida Gast, Milwaukee; Mrs. Henry Kattre, Kiel; Mrs. John J. Kuhn, Ada; and Mrs. Mary Reichardt, town of Schleswig; and two brothers, William of Kiel; and Herman of the town of Schleswig. She was preceded in death by one brother, Carl. PAULINE PETZOLD cemetery #82 Mrs. Gustave Petzold Relieved of 16 Years of Invalidism. Death came as a relief to Mrs. Gustave Petzold on Sunday morning at her home in this village, after many years of patient suffering. The deceased, nee Pauline Goebel, was born in the state of New York, December 26th, 1852. In 1865 she was united in marriage to Gustave Petzold, the couple making their home on a farm in the town of Schleswig, near Millhome, where they resided until seven years ago, when they removed to Kiel. She was ill with rheumatism for 16 years and for the last 12 years has been helpless. Dropsy was the immediate cause of death. Besides her husband she leaves two sons, william on the old home farm, Charles in Kiel, and one daughter, Mrs. W. Diefenthaler of the town of New Holstein. Mrs. Pezoldt had been a patient at the hospital for several weeks, after suffering a stroke at her home. The services were in charge of the Rev. Allen L. Bowe and interment was made in the Kiel cemetery. Mrs. Pezoldt was born February 26, 1882, at Calumetville, Fond du Lac County, a daughter of Jacob and Sophia Rothmann Reiss. She was married to William Pezoldt of Kiel in May, 1904. For years, she and her sister, Mrs. Carrie Mauer, operated a sweet shop in Kiel, selling the business in 1943. Since that time they have their home together in Kiel. Mrs. Pezoldt was a member of the Kiel branch of the Royal Neighbors, the First Presbyterian Church and the Dorcas society of the church. Survivors are three sons, Hanford of Des Plaines, Illinois, and Kenneth and Juno of Milwaukee; four grandchildren; a brother, Paul Reiss, and two sisters, Mrs. Carl Winter and Mrs. Carrie Mauer, of this city. ORVILLE PEZOLDT cemetery #82 Orville Pezold (sic), the eight year old son of Mr. Wm. Pezold died at the home of his Aunt Mrs. G. Maurer, Tuesday morning. The little fellow had been ill with influenza pneumonia since Dec. 19. Since the death of his father two years ago he made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Maurer. He was a general favorite among his school mates in the fourth grade of the public school. The grief-stricken mother and aunt have the deepest sympathy of the community in their double bereavement. Double funeral services were held at the Maurer home Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, W.H. Luehr of New Holstein officiating, with interment in the Kiel cemetery.
WILLIAM PEZOLDT cemetery #82 On Saturday a telegram was received with the news that Mr. Wm. Petzoldt had died at the Tuberculosis Sanitarium in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The coffin arrived here on Tuesday night and was taken to the home of the deceased. Mr. Petzoldt died one month and 4 days after going to the sanitarium. He was born in Milwaukee on September 20, 1880 and grew up there. He came to Kiel about 15 years ago and since then has worked at the Ammann Cigar Factory. On May 7, 1904 he married Miss Tillie Reiss from Calumet his surviving spouse. The marriage was blessed with four sons. Mr. Petzoldt had previously served as village trustee and for many years held the office of Day Marshall. He was a member of the following organizations, Woodmen, E. F. U., Beavers, Redmen, Turners, Fire Department and the Cigar Makers Union. The burial took place on W ednesday afternoon from his home to the Kiel Cemetery with Mr. Wm. ADELINE PEZZANI cemetery #44 Mrs. Mike Pezzani, 60, of 2131 Richmond Ave., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. N.W. Kock will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Mrs. Pezzani, nee Adaline M. Begalke, was born May 6, 1911, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late August and Emma Teesch Begalke. She was married to Mike Pezzani July 4, 1946, at Manitowoc. She was employed at the Schuette Bros. Co., Manitowoc, in the bookkeeping department for 42 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Manitowoc. Survivors include her husband, a brother, August, of Milwaukee, two sisters, Mrs. Hilda Schultz, of Gentry, Ark., and Mrs. Hertha Dett, of Rogers, Ark., and nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and after noon at the church Thursday. The permit is written in black ink, except the portion that the cemetery filled out and the “1987”, so maybe someone here thought the year was wrong and incorrectly changed it.?
