AURELIA IBELING cemetery #82 MRS. J. IBELING DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER Mrs. John Ibeling, life-long resident of this city, passed away Friday at 4 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. C. Bussian, Racine, after a lingering illness. The remains arrived here Monday morning, and lay at the C. J. Meiselwitz funeral parlors until the afternoon, where at 2 o’clock the funeral was held from that place, the Rev. Otto Saewert, pastor of the St. Peter Reformed church conducting the service. Burial was in the family lot at the Kiel cemetery. Mrs. Ibeling, whose maiden name was Aurelia Thiedemann, was born on a farm near Kiel, April 5, 1861, and was 67 years of age at the time of her death. November 23, 1880, she was united in marriage to John Ibeling, a painter by trade, and the couple immediately after the nuptials established a permanent home here. Those left to mourn her death are: Her husband, two daughters, Mrs. R. C. Bussian of Racine, and Mrs. Edna Mack of Milwaukee, and one son, Herman at home. Two children have preceded her in death. Among those from away who attended the funeral of Mrs. John Ibeling Monday were: Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Bussian of Racine; Theodore Oesau, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Langmack, Mrs. Ed Jerry, and Mrs. August Langmack of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Thiedeman of Thorp, and Mrs. Helen Greve and daughter, Cornelia of Rib Lake. Mrs. Thiedemann and Mrs. Greve are sisters of Mr. Ibeling.

JOHN IBELING cemetery #82 Give Obituary of John Ibeling Following is the obituary of John Ibeling, who passed away at his home here Wednesday, June 7. John Ibeling was born in Germany March 4, 1849. He was united in marriage on November 23, 1880 to Miss Aurelia Thiedemann, a resident of the town of Schleswig, who precede him in death in July, 1928. Immediately after their marriage the couple located in Kiel, Mr. Ibeling being a painter by trade. During the last fifteen years of his life he was an invalid. To the couple five children were born of whom the following three survive: Mrs. R. C. Bussian, Racine; Mrs. Edna Mack, Milwaukee, and Herman of Milwaukee. Funeral services were held from the Meiselwitz Undertaking parlors Saturday, September 10, with the Odd Fellow lodge, of which he was a member, in charge. The Rev. E. L. Worthman officiated. Pallbearers were the following: Adolph Hingiss, Rudolph Greve, J. B. Laun, Philip Mueller, Edward Krostag, and Edward Gutenkunst. Interment was in the Kiel cemetery.

AGATHA IBSCH cemetery #44 From Der Nord Westen, 30 Apr. 1891: Death Thurs. afternoon of Mrs. Agatha Ibsch, who reached the age of 72 yrs. 8 mos. 9 days. She is survived by a number of children and was buried Sat. in the city cemetery.

MARIA IGEL cemetery #21 From Der Nord Westen, 28 Feb. 1901: Death in St. Nazianz of Mrs. Joseph Igel of childbed fever. The deceased, who was 27, had married her surviving husband 10 mos. ago. The funeral will be held today.

CHRISTIAN IHLENFELDT cemetery #64 From Der Nord Westen, 25 Jan. 1894: (From the correspondent in Mishicott, 16 Jan.) Death last Fri, 12 Jan. of Christian Ihlenfeld, father of Christian and John Ihlenfeld in Ahnapee. He was a former resident on the Northside of Mishicott. He was born 29 Oct. 1811 in Demmin, Pr8ussia, and so reached the age of 82 yrs. and a few months. He came to America in 1857 with the above named sons and his late wife. The funeral took place Sun. afternoon at the cemetery near Carl Maak’s place.

CAROLINE IMMLER cemetery #89A From Der Nord Westen, 10 June 1886: Death in Milwaukee of Mrs. Immler of Two Creeks. She was buried in Two Rivers.

FRANZ IMMLER cemetery #89A From Der Nord Westen, 29 Aug. 1901: (From the correspondent in Two Rivers, 26 Aug.) Death in Milwaukee of Franz Immler, who had been living there with his children the past 13 yrs. He was an old settler of Town Two Creeks, farming there for many years. He then ran a store and a dance hall. 13 yrs. ago he sold out and moved to Milwaukee. He was 82 and is survived by 4 children. The body was brought here for burial and Mr. E. Pahlcoetter delivered the funeral oration.

CHRIST INGRISCH cemetery #44 From the Manitowoc Daily Herald on Friday, June 10, 1904, page 1, column 2. RELEASED FROM PAIN Christopher Ingrish Old Resident Passes Away Suffering from dropsy and kindred diseases for nearly a year Christopher Ingrish an old time resident of the city passed to his final rest with the decline of day on Thursday. Decedent was 77 years old, was born in the town of Miles, province Pilsener-Kreis, Germany and came to America on the day that Lincoln was assassinated. He had been a resident of this city for more than forty years and in the earlier days conducted a tavern and hotel on Washington street. Of late years he made his home with his son Vincent, who together with three other children and an aged wife, survive. The children are, Joseph, Vincent and Annie from this city and Henry, South Dakota. The funeral will be held on Sunday afternoon from the home and the body will be interred at Evergreen Cemetery. ********* From Der Nord Westen, 16 June 1904: Death Thurs. following an illness of several months of 77-yr. old Christoph Ingrisch, a well-known resident of our city. The deceased landed on American shores the day Lincoln was shot and has lived here ever since. He formerly operated a store on Washington St. which he gave up as he entered old age. He leaves his sorrowing widow and 3 children. The funeral was held Sun. afternoon.

MINNIE INGRISCH cemetery #44 From Der Nord Westen, 04 Aug. 1904: Death Mon. evening of heart trouble following a 3-mo. illness of Mrs. Minna Wilhelmina Ingrisch. The deceased who was born here in Manitowoc as a sister of John George, reached the age of 47. She is survived by her husband, Vincent Ingrisch, 2 children, her sorrowing father, as well as 2 brothers and 8 sisters. OSCAR INGRISCH cemetery #44 From Der Nord Westen, 20 Feb. 1902: Oscar Ingrish, about whom we reported last week as having suffered a badly broken leg while loading freight at the local railroad station, died Fri. of those injuries in a local hospital. He was 21 and had been born and raised here in Manitowoc. In addition to his parents he is survived by a brother and a sister to mourn his early death. GILBERT IVERSON cemetery #44 From Der Nord Westen, 24 June 1909: A rheumatic illness took the life Sunday of 55-year old Gilbert Evenson here. He leaves his widow and several sisters. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon. (Note: Although the obit says Gilbert Evenson in collusion with the Evergreen cem. office we have decided the newspaper was in error on his surname and it should be Iverson. There is no Gilbert Evenson in any cemeteries in the county)
