CHARLES T. DOBBERT cemetery #44 From Der Nord Westen, 22 July 1909: Death from old age debility on Sunday of Carl Theodor Dobbert, one of the oldest and well-known German citizens of our community. The deceased was born 24 December 1830 in Molzahn, Pomerania, and came to America and to Manitowoc in 1851 where he has resided ever since. He opened a shoemaker shop here, but toward the end of the 50’s opened a tannery which he operated with great success until retiring about 15 years ago. He leaves his widow, 2 sons and 3 daughters. A remarkable coincidence occurred when the wall clock stopped at the very moment of Dobbert’s demise. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon. ******** [cause: nephritis]

JOHN DOBBERT cemetery #58 John Dobbert, 62, a farm laborer, died here last night. He had been ill for some time. He was born in the town of Meeme in 1872 and lived there and in the vicinity of Valders his entire life. He never married. Survivors are a sister, Mrs. August Quante of Meeme, three nephews and four nieces. Funeral services will be held Monday from the Saviors church at Valders. Born in Germany on Dec. ? 1834, she came to Manitowoc with her parents when fifteen years of age when her family located at Rapids and removed to a farm at Newton. There she was married to Mr. Dobbert, pioneer tanner and shoemaker of this city who died nine years ago. Mrs. Dobbert had been seriously ill for some time past having been confined to her home for several ?. Death was due primarily to ? of age. Three children survive; Mrs. ? ALLAN J. DOBBS cemetery #89C

Allan J. Dobbs, age 62, of Two Rivers, died unexpectedly Saturday evening, June 28, 2003, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2003, at Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Louis Sievert, with burial to follow in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers. Allan was born April 19, 1941, in Rhinelander, a son of the late Charles and Amanda (Kriesel) Dobbs. He graduated from Three Lakes High School in 1959, and also completed two years of college at the University of Wisconsin — Superior. On Oct. 1, 1962, he married Betty Lou Frayer at Three Lakes. The couple then moved to Two Rivers where he started working for Bills Mobil. Allan also worked for East Side Auto, and managed the Zephyr Station in Two Rivers for a number of years, before becoming employed by the Two Rivers School District. He worked for the school district for 27 years at both, Washington High School and Magee Elementary School, retiring in 2001. Allan was a member of the Quarter Century Club, and former member of the Two Rivers Lions Club. He was an avid baseball fan, and loved the Milwaukee Brewers. Survivors include his wife: Betty; one son, one granddaughter, and his mother-in-law. He is further survived by three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, two nieces, his pet Siamese kitty, Cleo, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Charles Jr. and Ken Dobbs: and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ramona and Charles Schiman. GEORGE A. DOBINSKI cemetery #43 George A. Dobinski, age 80, of 3807 Shoto Road, Two Rivers, died on Tuesday evening, Dec. 9, 2008, at his residence. He was born on Feb. 29, 1928, in Two Rivers, son of the late Stanley and Antoinette (Marocek) Dobrzynski. George served with the U.S. Merchant Marines during World War II. On Feb. 21, 1950, he married the former Catherine G. Duenkel in Grand Rapids, Mich. She preceded him in death on May 5, 1994. George was employed as the executive chef at the Manitowoc Motor Hotel for 26 years. He later was employed with Manitowoc Engineering, and ended his working career as a security guard with the Burger Boat Company. (Survivors omitted for privacy.) He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law: Kyoko Dobinski; four brothers: Joey, Al, Steve and Edmund; and four sisters and one brother-in-law: Sue, Gertrude, Delores, and Lucy (Francis) Graves. Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Charlotte A. Dodge, age 75, of Two Rivers, died unexpectedly Sunday night Nov. 4, 2001 at the Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, 2001 at St. Mark Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Larry Seidi, with entombment to follow in Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth. Charlotte was born Oct. 4, 1926 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Edward and Selinde Brocher Colanchick. She attended school in Two Rivers, and graduated from Washington High School with the class of 1944. On Sept. 20, 1947, she married Kenneth E. Dodge at St. Luke Catholic Church. Charlotte was a longtime member of St. Mark Catholic Church, where she was active with the Ladies of St. Luke/St. Mark; a member of the Two Rivers Ladies Elks where she served as call chairperson; member and volunteer of the Two Rivers Historical Society, and was a former Brownie leader. She and Ken were "adopted grandparents" for the first through third-grade students at T.R.C.C.S. for the past three years. Charlotte enjoyed knitting and gardening, and her grandchildren were always precious to her. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family, but will live on in our hearts forever. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Dodge; two sons, five daughters, seven beloved grandchildren. She is further survived by one brother, and one sister-in-law, many other relatives and friends, especially the "Clubbers." Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law. Orrin and Dorothy Dodge, and by infant twin brothers. KENNETH E. DODGE cemetery #32

Kenneth E. Dodge, age 77, of Two Rivers, died Peacefully Friday night, Oct. 3, 2003 at the Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers, with his family at his side. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday Oct. 8, 2003 at St. Peter the Fisherman Parish, St. Luke Site, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Wm. G. O'Brien, with entombment to follow at the Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc. Military graveside rites will be accorded by the VFW and American Legion Post of Two Rivers. Ken was born April 20, 1926, in Two Rivers, son of the late Orrin & Dorothy (Yelmene) Dodge. He attended St. Mark Catholic School, and was a 1944 graduate of Washington High School, where he was active in numerous sports. From 1944 to 1946, Ken served his country in the United States Army, during World War II, having served in Germany & France. During this period, he also played with the "Blue Devil's Football Team" of the 36th Infantry Division. On Sept. 20, 1947, he married Charlotte A. Colanchick at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. She preceded him in death Nov. 4, 2001. Kenny worked for several years for the Sorge Dairy of Sturgeon Bay, before opening his own service station in Two Rivers, known as "Dodge's Union 76". He owned & operated the station for 30 years, retiring in 1987. Ken served for numerous years on the Two Rivers City Council, of which he was past president; he was an honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #1957, Two Rivers; and a member of the Two Rivers Historical Society, VFW Post #1248, the Two Rivers Senior Center, and a life-long member of St. Mark's Catholic Parish. He was also a 40-year, past member of the Two Rivers Elk's Lodge #1380, and the Two Rivers Kiwanis Club. For many years, Charlotte & Ken were "adopted grandparents" for students of TRCCS. Kenny enjoyed boating, fishing, and many years at their trailer at Chaudoir's Dock. He also enjoyed his vegetable garden, and was an avid Packer Fan. He is survived by two sons & daughters-in-law, five daughters & two sons-in-law, seven grand-children, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, especially the "Clubbers.~ In addition to his parents & wife, he was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Robert & Mildred Dodge, one sister, Janet Rudebeck, one nephew, Tom Dodge, and a brother-in-law, Alton Colanchick. LIZZIE DODGE cemetery #44 From Der Nord Westen, 18 Feb. 1892: On Tues. afternoon the casket of Mrs. Nels Dodge, who died in Milwaukee, was brought here and buried the following day in the city cemetery. She was the sister of Messrs. W., Joseph, Stephan and Anton Krainik of Manitowoc. She and her husband made their home in Milwaukee. She is survived by her husband and a 2 yr. old son.

JUDITH A. DOERFLER Judith Ann Doerfler, age 69, a Manitowoc resident, entered into eternal life on Thursday, March 27, 2008, at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers. Judy was born on June 13, 1938, in Lodi, to the late Clare and Minnie (Scharr) Kidd. She graduated from Lodi High School with the class of 1956. She then went on to attend college at the University of Wisconsin- Madison, where she met her soon-to-be husband, Vernon Doerfler. Judy married Vernon Doerfler on June 27, 1959, in Lodi. Vernon preceded Judy in death on Nov. 18, 1996. Judy was an avid volunteer at the Woodland Dunes Nature Center, where she gave visitors guided tours through the trails. She also volunteered at the Manitowoc Visitor Center; The Maritime Museum; and participated with the Welcome Committee for the Badger Car Ferry. She had actively supported the American Cancer Society in several ways, in part by coordinating the Relay for Life for St. Paul's United Methodist team, and by organizing the Daffodil Days' fundraiser. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Manitowoc, where she served in the choir and also as a confirmation mentor. Judy was also very excited to be working as a liaison between her church in Manitowoc and it's sister church in Kamogawa, Japan. She was employed by the Manitowoc Public School District and worked as a teacher at Jackson Elementary School for 28 years and later helped as a substitute teacher throughout her retirement. Judy cherished the time she was able to spend with her family, especially when she was able to take her grandchildren to Disney World. (Survivors omitted for privacy) Judy was preceded in death her parents; her husband: Vernon; one son: Todd; one brother: Robert Kidd; and two sisters: Jean Johannsen and Georgia Ryan. The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, March 31, 2008, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 411 Reed Ave., Manitowoc, from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. Thomas Dunham will officiate, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials be made to the Woodland Dunes Nature Center or the American Cancer Society. Roberta Thomson with burial on Monday at Forest View Cemetery. Leona was born April 19, 1910 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Wenzel C. and Mary Swoboda Doleysh. On May 4, 1937 Leona married Maynard W. Doerfler in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on Jan. 24, 1967. Leona was employed at Jerry’s South Side Bakery for many years. She was an active member of the Two Rivers Senior Center, calling bingo, arranging tours and participating in the Kitchen Band and Chorus. Leona hardly missed a day until her health prevented her attendance. Survivors include a daughter-in-law: a grandson two great-grandsons, four sisters and two brothers-in-law, three brothers and sisters-in-law, Besides her husband, Leona was preceded in death by a son, Vernon D. Doerfler; a grand-son, Todd E. Doerfler; two sisters, Dorothy Ninmer and Helen Plansky; and a dear friend Henry Greenwood. Deceased was born in Crevitz, Mecklenburgh, Schwerin, Prussia and came to this country in 1854, first settling in Toledo, Ohio. In 1856 he came to Manitowoc and has resided here since. Mrs. Doescher died eight years ago and there are no surviving children. The funeral will be held Friday with interment in Evergreen cemetery. RACHAEL A. DOHR cemetery #89C Rachael A. Dohr, age 98, a former Two Rivers resident, residing with her daughter and son-in-law in South Carolina, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004. She was born Oct. 6, 1905 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Charles and Amelia (Cammers) Ahrens. Rachael was the first graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School. She had the privilege of presenting the diploma to the last graduate of Washington High School, class of 2002. She married Theodore (Ted) Dohr on Sept. 14, 1926 in Saukville. He preceded her in death on Nov. 26, 1983. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, one brother and sister-in-law, one sister and brother-in-law. She is further survived by four grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Kathleen Seder: one brother: Lincoln Ahrens; a sister: Gladys Curtis: and a grandson: Paul Pappas. NELLIE DOLEZAL cemetery #66 In ill health for the past six years, Mrs. Wenzel Dolezal, 77, died late Saturday afternoon at her farm home near Tisch Mills. The body is lying in state at the Konop funeral home in Tisch Mills, where brief rites will be held at 9:30 o'clock Tuesday morning, followed by a requiem mass at St. Mary's Catholic church in the village. The Rev. John Rous will officiate, and burial will be made in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Dolezal was born in Bohemia in 1868, and came to this country when a young woman. EDWARD DOMKE cemetery #20 Edward P. Domke, 81, of Route 2, Hilbert, retired Town New Holstein farmer, died Wednesday morning at Bellin Memorial Hospital at Green Bay. Born May 27, 1876, in Cook County, Ill., the son of Frank and Caroline Domke, he spent his early life there and at the age of 19 came to Calumet County. On Feb. 15, 1901, he was married to Katherine Stueven of Town Eaton, Manitowoc County, and they farmed until 1942 when they moved to the present home at Route 2, Hilbert. They observed their golden wedding anniversary in 1951 and Mrs. Domke passed away Jan. 14, 1956. Mr. Domke was one of the organizers of the Schleswig Telephone Co. and served as president and general manager of the company for a time. At the time of his death he was a member of the Eaton cemetery board. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Sam (Angela) Huebner of Forest Junction; a son, Howard, of New Holstein; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a brother, Paul, of Danville, Calif. NORRIS DOMKE cemetery #20 Following an illness of several years’ duration, Norris Domke, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Domke of near Meggers, passed away at the home of his parents at 3:30 Saturday morning. Cause of his death was diabetes. He had attended the Meggers district school, and the Kiel high school for two years, but was forced to discontinue his studies because of his health. He was born in Charlestown February 13, 1914 and death occurred on his birthday. He is survived by his parents, one brother Howard of here, and a sister, Miss Angela, who teaches school in Forest junction. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon from the home and at 2 o’clock at the First Presbyterian church, the Rev. J. W. MacElree officiating. Two hymns, “No Night There,” and “The Mercy Seed,” were sung by a sextet consisting of Mrs. E. M. Duecker, Mrs. Henry Meiselwitz, Mrs. Roy Nelson, Mrs. H. C. Mesch, Mrs. M. C. Timm, and Mrs. Hugo Neumann. Honorary pallbearers were Clarence Manz, Earl Voland, Bobbie Bahr, Walter Jaeger, and Eugene and Daniel Nauth. Active pallbearers were cousins of the deceased - Herbert and Louis Mattes, Frederick Rosenbauer, Martin Juno, Wilbert Weber and Fred Holm. Interment was in the Eaton cemetery. PAUL F. DOMKE cemetery #82 Paul F. Domke, 74, of 812 Seventh St., Kiel, died early Monday evening at St. Nicholas Hospital here. He had been hospitalized 10 days. A native of Cook County, Ill., he was born Sept. 5, 1883, a son of the late Frank and Caroline Domke. Mr. Domke graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering as a young man and on Oct. 5, 1916, he married Clara Rasmussen at Kelly Brook in Oconto County. Following marriage the couple lived in Wausau before moving to Kiel in 1924. He worked as a garage mechanic for a time and then as a machinist for Stoelting Bros. Co. until retiring four years ago. His wife died in September 1952 and in recent years he was spending the winters with a daughter in California. Mr. Domke was a past master of Kiel Lodge 336, F. and A.M., and a past elder and trustee of First Presbyterian Church in Kiel. Surviving are two daughters, Miss Dorothy, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Melvin (Grace) Katzer, Danville, Calif., and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. MARY DONAHUE cemetery #43 SADNESS ENTERS - DONAHUE Gloom foreshadowed the Christmas season in one household yesterday. At shortly after six o’clock the soul of Mrs. Thomas Donahue left its earthly habitation and took its flight Homeward. Deceased was seventy-five years of age and death was caused by general debility. She lived alone in her house on South Eleventh street between Columbus and Division streets, but during her last hours she was surrounded by loving sons and daughters. The children number ten living, and one who died some fourteen years ago. The lady was a widow, her husband having died on January 14, 1898. The family formerly resided in the town of Liberty and was one of the first to settle in this district. Her husband was a veteran of the Mexican War and was a man of rare ability and genial nature. The deceased wife was also a sympathetic helpmeet and was held in high esteem by a large number of acquaintances. STRUCK BY A FALLING TREE And Buried Under Weight of Timber-Life Crushed Out Almost Instantly-Body Will Be Brought Here For Burial. Patrick Donahue, a well known young man of the town of Meeme, is dead, as the result of an accident which befell him while at work in a lumber camp near Menominee. Donahue was employed in this city until recently, working on the elevator annex, and in company with his brother, Michael and a cousin, Arthur Paul, had gone to Menominee to work in the lumber camp. Thursday morning the men were at work loading logs and several had been placed on the wagon. Donahue climbed on the wagon and was watching the operations of two fellow workmen who were engaged in felling a tree, standing in direct line with the load, when without warning, the tree fell, striking him on the head and bearing him to the ground. The logs on the wagon were dislodged and buried the young man. As soon as possible the lumber was removed, and the young man moved. Blood was pouring from the mouth and ears and although conscious, he was unable to speak. A messenger was at once dispatched for medical assistance, but before the physician arrived the spark of life had fled and he was beyond the aid of mortal man. Mr. Paul at once left the camp, arriving here this morning and conveying the sad intelligence of the death to relatives here and at Meeme. The unfortunate young man is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Donahue. He was home but a few days ago and the news of his death will prove a terrible shock to the parents. Patrick Donahue was born at Newton 23 years ago next March and had always resided in this county. He was well known in this city, where he made frequent visits and was popular with a large circle of friends, both here and at his home. besides (sic) his parents, four brothers and four sisters survive to mourn their loss. One sister, Mrs. M. White, resides in this city. The remains will arrive this evening, accompanied by the brother who was present when the accident happened. Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed, but services will in all probability be held at Meeme. His body was brought to Meeme for burial. He was 22-1/2 yrs. old. ********* Funeral services for the late Patrick Donahue, the young man who met death in the lumber camps near Menominee, were held at St. Isadore church in Meeme Sunday and there was a large attendance of relatives and friends. The body arrived in the city Saturday and in charge of a brother and were given in charge of Undertaker Kappes. The skull was cracked in three places and the head terribly disfigured. THOMAS DONAHUE cemetery #43 Thomas Donohue of this city died on Friday last aged 81. He was born in Ireland but came to this country when young and enlisted in the army taking part in the Mexican War. When discharged at the close of the war he came west. He stepped aboard the same boat in Buffalo on which Henry Mulholland and family were coming west to enter upon a pioneer life. Donohue had a soldier's land warrant and he accompanied Mulholland to Meeme and entered 80 acres of land in Liberty. This was in 1850. He disposed of his farm a few years ago and has since resided in the city. He was a man of sturdy character, honest and independent. THOMAS F. DONAHUE Thomas Donahue, 81, formerly of 1316 S. 15th St., Manitowoc, died at 10:45 p.m. Thursday at Maple Crest Sanatorium, Whitelaw, where he had been a patient since Aug. 6, 1962. Mr. Donahue was born Jan. 27, 1881, at Osman, son of the late John and Margaret Fitzgerald Donahue. He married Emma Behm at Neva, Wis., Jan 24, 1905. The couple moved to Chicago in 1907 and resided there until 1916, moving to Manitowoc. They celebrated the golden anniversary of their wedding in 1956. Mrs. Donahue died March 7, 1958. Before his retirement Mr. Donahue had been employed at Aluminum Specialty. He had been a member of St. Andrew Church Holy Name Society and of the Senior Citizens Club. Surviving him are two daughters, Mrs. Lester Freeman of Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Norbert Trost of Watertown, Wis.; four sons, John of Palm Springs, Calif., Eugene of New York City, Patrick with the US Air Force, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Richard of Burbank, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren. ADOLPH DONATH cemetery #82 Adolph Donath, 81, 611 St. Paul street, Kiel passed away early Sunday morning at Holy Family hospital, Manitowoc, after an illness of six weeks. He was born June 4, 1869, in the town of Schleswig, near Kiel, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Donath. He was married on Nov. 10, 1894, to Miss Fredericka Reichert in the Town of Rhine. The couple lived in Kiel for a short time, then moved to a farm in the town of Schleswig. After 20 years on the farm they moved back to Kiel. They celebrated their Golden anniversary on November 10, 1944. Mrs. Donath passed away November 10, 1945. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Edgar (Esther) Conrad of Kiel; two grand- daughters; one great-grandson; two brothers, Arno of Milwaukee; and Rudolph of Kiel; and two sisters, Mrs. Flora Allinger of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Hulda Ross of Elkhart Lake. Funeral services will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Evangelical and Reformed church, Kiel. The Rev. E. L. Worthman will officiate and burial will be made in the Kiel cemetery. AUGUST DONATH (d. 1933) cemetery #82 August Donath of Town Russell Dies of Stroke Kiel – August Donath, aged 63, died of a heart stroke early Sunday morning at the Norbert Brill home in Town of Russell. He was found dead in bed. Mr. Donath was born on the old Frederick Donath homestead in Town of Schleswig, near Kiel, on October 9, 1870, the son of Frederick and Johanna Donath. During the past forty-five years, he worked on several farms in Town of Russell, and the last several years was employed at the Norbert Brill farm. The survivors are five brothers, Fred and Arno of Milwaukee; William of Plymouth; Adolph of Kiel; Rudolph at the homestead farm; four sisters, Miss Ida Donath, also at the homestead farm; Mrs. Ernst Berg of Cleveland; Mrs. Henry Ross of Elkhart Lake; and Mrs. Charles Allinger of Kiel. Services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the C. J. Meiselwitz Funeral parlors at Kiel. The Rev. E. L. Worthman, pastor of the St. Peter Reformed church of Kiel, will officiate at the rites, and burial will be made on the Donath lot in the Kiel cemetery. FRIEDERICKA DONATH cemetery #82 Mrs. Adolph Donath, aged 68, died on Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock at Memorial hospital in Sheboygan, where she had been confined for several days. The deceased is the former Miss Frieda Reichert, daughter of Frederick and Fredericka Anhalt Reichert, born in the town of Rhine on Aug. 3, 1877. She was married to Adolph Donath on Nov. 10, 1894, and they resided in Kiel for a short time and then on a farm in the town of Schleswig for 20 years, before coming back to Kiel to make their home. She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Edgar (Esther) Conrad of this city; two granddaughters; three brothers, Fred of Schleswig, Herman of Kiel, and Alfred of Johnsonville; two sisters, Mrs. George Raquet of Sheboygan, and Mrs. Helena Jugenheimer. HUGO DONATH cemetery #82 Accident at Kiel—A sad accident occurred at Kiel on Monday last, which resulted fatally to two young men of that place. The young men, Hugo Donard (sic) and Fred Dercher were assisting a few others in moving a building by the aid of rollers and a capstan. To the sweep of the capstan a horse was attached and while pulling the building along such a heavy strain was placed upon the sweep that it broke and as it flew around it struck the parties referred to in the back part of their heads, killing Mr. Donard instantly and fracturing the skull of Mr. Derchert so severely that his life is despaired of. Mr. Donard was a brother of our fellow townsman, Richard Donard. The deceased had a number of acquaintances here who will regret his untimely departure. Chilton Times, March 18, 1882


IDA DONATH cemetery #82 Miss Ida Donath, aged 86, passed away early Sunday morning at her farm home east of Kiel on Highway 32, following a lingering illness. Miss Donath, was born in Kiel on June 27, 1859, the daughter of Fred and Johanna Koinke-Donath. She received her schooling here, and then left for Milwaukee, where she resided for 8 years. For the past 30 years she has been residing with her brother, Rudolph. Survivors include five brothers, Fred and Arno of Milwaukee, William of Plymouth, and Rudolph and Adolph of this city, and two sisters, Mrs. Hilda Ross of Elkhart Lake and Mrs. Charles Allinger of this city. RUDOLPH DONATH cemetery #82 Rudolph Donath, aged 75, 836 Seventh street, passed away at the Memorial hospital in Sheboygan on Tuesday, after being there for two weeks after he had fractured some ribs by falling on a sidewalk. Mr. Donath was born May 6, 1876 in the town of Schleswig, son of Frederick and Johanna Koinke Donath. He lived on the homestead farm until 1946, when he moved to his present residence. He was a member of the St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed church. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Hulda) Ross, Elkhart Lake, Mrs. Charles (Flora) Allinger, Milwaukee, and one brother Arno, also of Milwaukee. Funeral services will be held from the Meiselwitz Funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. E. L. Worthman officiating. Burial will be made in the Kiel cemetery.
