HECTOR A. DICK cemetery #44 Hector Dick, 70, Manitowoc, Dies Manitowoc, Wis. – Hector Dick, 70, owner of Dick Brothers bakery, died Sunday at Holy Family hospital after a brief illness. He and his brother, Jerome, came here from Green Bay about 40 years ago and built their bakery into one of the largest in northeastern Wisconsin. Jerome drowned many years ago when his automobile went off a bridge into the Manitowoc river. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at St. Paul Lutheran church. MOLLIE OLSON DICK cemetery #44 Mrs. Mollie Dick, 59, of 1103 Lincoln Loulevard, wife of Hector Dick, president-treasurer of the Dick Bros. Bakery Company, died shortly before noon today at the family home. She had been in failing health in recent weeks. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the St. Paul's Norwegian Lutheran church, the Rev. R.B. Walden officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. Dick, nee Mollie Olson, was born in 1883 in Eaton, Brown county, and in 1913 was married to Mr. Dick, locating in this city. She was a member of the Ladies Aid society of the St. Paul's congregation. Survivors are the widower; son, Oscar, of this city; two brothers, Anton of this city and Ole of Whitelaw; and three grandchildren. The body may be viewed at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home from Friday at 2 p.m. until Saturday at 10 a.m. when it will be moved to the church. DIEDRICH DICKE cemetery #89A From Der Nord Westen, 07 Mar. 1895: Death last Sat. in Two Rivers of Diedrich Dicke at the age of 75. Mr. Dicke was born 29 Jan. 1820 in Stolzenau, Prov. Hanover. He came to America in 1846 and to Wisconsin in 1847. For a short while he worked in Cedarburg, Sheboygan Falls, Two Rivers and Kewaunee, finally settling in the vicinity of Two Rivers. He was married in 1850 to Marie Hemschemeyer, a marriage that produced 2 sons and 2 daughters. One of the daughters died in 1869, leaving his widow and the other 3 children to survive him. The deceased was an uncle of Mr. W. Dicke of Manitowoc. His funeral was Tues. at the Lutheran Church in Two Rivers.


ELLA MAY DICKE cemetery #89A Mrs. Ella M. Dicke, 78, of 3307 Adams St., Two Rivers, widow of Fred W. Dicke, Two Rivers city attorney for 59 years who died Sept. 27, died early Saturday morning at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past six weeks. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Grace Congregational Church, Two Rivers, the Rev. R. J. Wicheli officiating. Burial will be in the family plot in Pioneers Rest Cemetery, Two Rivers. Mrs. Dicke, nee Ella May Lahey, was born in Menominee, Mich., May 15, 1879, daugher of the late Mr. & Mrs. Edward Lahey. When she was a child the family brought her to Two Rivers, where she attended the Two Rivers public schools. She was married Oct. 9, 1912, to Atty. F. W. Dicke. A lifelong member of Grace Congregational Church, Mrs. Dicke was a member of its Ladies Aid Society, and also belonged to the Two Rivers Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Ladies Charitable Assn. Surviving Mrs. Dicke are two daughters, Mrs. Hollis Schlueter of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mrs. Paul Fluck of Madison; a son, Atty. Frederick G. Dicke of Two Rivers; a sister, Mrs. George Hollander of Manitowoc; two brothers, Peter and George Lahey of Two Rivers, and six grandchildren. FRED G. DICKE (d. 1983) cemetery #89A Two Rivers lawyer Dicke dies at 69 Manitowoc – Attorney Fred G. Dicke, a former Manitowoc County district attorney who practiced law in Two Rivers for more than 40 years, died Sunday night at the North Ridge Care Center. He was 69. A native of Two Rivers, Dicke was the son of the late Fred W. Dicke, who practiced law for some 62 years until his death in 1957. Dicke was graduated from Lakeland College in 1936 with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. He earned his doctor of law degree in 1939 from the University of Wisconsin Law School, Madison. He was admitted to the Wisconsin Bar Association later that year and joined his father in the law firm of Dicke and Dicke. They later maintained offices of the firm of Dicke, Dicke, and Bero in both Manitowoc and Two Rivers. Dicke, a veteran of World War II, served in the European Theater for two years. He was assigned to the Judge Advocate’s Division and later was named to the Army Exchange Program in Scotland. Dicke was elected Manitowoc County district attorney in 1947 and was re-elected in 1949. He did not seek a third term. Following the death of his father, Dicke was appointed city attorney of Two Rivers. He served in that capacity from 1957 until 1966. He had served as assistant city attorney from 1940 to 1947 and from 1951 to 1957. Dicke was appointed Two Rivers Municipal Court judge in 1969. He served in that position until 1970. He retired from active law practice in September due to health reasons. Dicke was instrumental in founding two major health care facilities in the county. Shade Lane Home in Manitowoc was his idea, and he developed it as a non-profit organization. He was an original member of the home’s board of directors. He also drew up papers which resulted in the establishment of the Manitowoc County Health Care Center. Dicke also drew up the papers that incorporated the village of Mishicot. Dicke was a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association, the American Bar Association, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, University of Wisconsin Alumni Association, Masonic Lodge and the Commandery. In 1961 Dicke served as public service chairman for the Wisconsin Bar Association of Manitowoc; was president of the Two Rivers Rotary Club in 1955; was elected president of the Two Rivers Shrine Club in 1954; and was elected president of the Manitowoc County Bar Association in 1964. He is survived by his wife, Helen, and four daughters. A 7 p.m. memorial service in his name will be held at Grace United Church of Christ, Two Rivers. He was educated at Two Rivers Public Schools and Washington High School, graduating in 1932. He was graduated from Lakeland College in 1936 with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, and then earned a doctor of law degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison Law School in 1939. He was admitted to the Wisconsin Bar Association later that year and joined his father in the law firm of Dicke and Dicke. Mr. Dicke was a veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theatre for two years. He married Helen W. Wing, Oct. 4, 1947, at Shorewood, Wis. Mr. Dicke had served as assistant city attorney from 1940 to 1947 and from 1951 to 1957. He had been appointed to the position of Two Rivers city attorney in 1957, resigning in August of 1966. In 1947 he was elected Manitowoc County district attorney in 1947 and was re-elected in 1949. He was appointed Two Rivers Municipal Court judge on July 1, 1969, serving until the spring of 1970. Mr. Dicke was instrumental in founding of Shade Lane Home and Manitowoc County Health Care Center. He was also involved in the founding of Woodland Dunes Nature Center and drew up the papers to incorporate the village of Mishicot. Mr. Dicke was a lifelong member of Grace United Church of Christ. He was officer and director of the present North Shore Savings, and member of Conservation Education, Inc. He was also a member of Wisconsin Bar Association, the American Bar Association, American Legion, Elks Lodge 1380, Veterans of Foreign Wars, University of Wisconsin Alumni Association, Masonic Lodge and the Commandery. He was the longest active member of the Two Rivers Rotary Club. In 1951, he served as public service chairman for the Wisconsin Bar Association of Manitowoc County, was president of the Two Rivers Rotary Club in 1955, was elected president of the Two Rivers Shrine Club in 1954, was elected president of the Manitowoc County Bar Association in 1964, and had also served on the Wisconsin Bar Association Ethics Committee for many years. Survivors include his wife, Helen, and four daughters and two sons-in-law, (private); a sister, Mrs. Paul (Ellen) Fluck of Madison, three nephews, two nieces, and two great nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Schlueter, and a son-in-law, David Titus. There will be no visitation at the Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers. She was 68 yrs. 6 mos. of age, and died of old age debility. The deceased was born 1828 in Barnsdorf, Hanover, and came to America in 1849, marrying Heinrich Dicke in 1851. Her husband died in 1857 leaving her with 3 small children - 3-mos, 3-yrs. and 6-yrs. of age. The funeral took place Fri. afternoon.

Gordon J. Dickenson, age 74, of Two Rivers, passed away Wednesday afternoon, December 15, 1999, at Two Rivers Community Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 18, 1999, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. William G. O'Brien, with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers. He was born December 12, 1925, at Neopit, Wis., son of the late Ira and Cora Lafond Dickenson. He attended schools in Neopit and Sheboygan. He worked at Jungs Shoe Factory in Sheboygan and the Manitowoc Shipyards before enlisting in the Navy. He served with the United States Navy from November 29, 1944, until March 11, 1946. On May 14, 1949, he married Anna Mae Jacobosky at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. He was employed at Hamilton Mfg. Co. for 42 years, until his retirement in 1988. Gordon was a member of the Men of Holy Redeemer and the Veteran's of Foreign War. He served as a past Boy Scout leader and devoted many years of service as an attendant with the Two Rivers Religious Education Program. Gordon enjoyed gardening and working in his workshop. Survivors include his wife, Anna Mae; three sons and two daughters-in-law, six grandchildren, a special cousin, other relatives and friends also survive. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hilmore and Augusta Jacobosky. EMIL DICKERT (d. 1937) cemetery #44 Pioneer Resident Dies at Manitowoc Manitowoc, Wis. (Special)-Emil Deckert(sic), 68, died early this morning at the family home on Manitowoc Route 2 after an illness of 12 years. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Immanuel Ev. Lutheran church, the Rev. Theo. Uetzmann officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery. Deckert was born in Germany on January 16, 1869, and he came to America when he was 14 years old. He lived in Reedsville and in Brillion until 45 years ago when he came to Manitowoc. He operated his farm for 23 years. In 1899 he married Lydia Jens. EMIL DICKERT (d. 1952) cemetery #44 Emil Dickert, 65, of 605 York St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly early Tuesday morning following a heart attack at his home. He was ready to depart for work when stricken. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, the Rev. A.C. Fischer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The deceased was born in the town of Franklin, Manitowoc County, Oct. 2, 1887. He never married. For more than 20 years he was employed by the Aluminum Goods Manufacturing Company. He was a member of the Manitowoc Eagle aerie 706. MARY DICKERT cemetery #45 Mrs. Mary Dickert, 81, Pioneer of County, Dies At Home of Daughter Mrs. Mary Dicert, 81, widow of the late Henry Dickert, and a pioneer of Manitowoc county passed away Thursday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Schadeberg, 1302 Green street, with whom she made her home. Coming here from Bohemia in early childhood with her parents, the deeased, except for a four year period when she, with her husband located in Brown county, has always made this county her home. Her maiden name was Mary Novotny. She married Henry Dickert in 1867 first being located in Kossuth and after returning from Glenmore, Brown county, locating on a farm in the town of Franklin. Mr. Dickert passed away 33 years ago. Six daughters, Mrs. Frank Schadeberg, Mrs. George Holtz and Clara, all of this city; Mrs. Mary Stracke, and Elizabeth of Racine; Mrs. Helen Franz of Franklin and one son, Emil of this city survive. A sister, Mrs. Lawrence Weix of Antigo, three brothers, Louis Novotny of Antigo, James of Union Center, Wis., and John of Plainfield, Wis., four grand- children and one great grandchild also survive. Burial will take place Monday afternoon at 1:30 from the Schadeberg home, and at 2 o'clock from the German Reform church, with interment in the Branch cemetery. RAYMOND DICKERT cemetery #44 Raymond Dickert, 26, Dies At Hospital Raymond Dickert, 26, died at the hospital Tuesday afternoon after an illness that had confined him there for four weeks. The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 from the home, and at two o'clock from the Immanuel Lutheran church. The deceased was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Dickert and was born here January 14, 1902. He was unmarried and was employed here. Besides his parents he is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Wolda Olson, Mrs. Albert Duzesky, Nathalie and Ethel and son, Harold, all of this city. SISTER ADELIA C. DICKMANN cemetery #82 Miss Adelia Dickman, 62, died Monday morning at St. Louis, Mo. A native of the Town of Herman, she was born Nov. 9, 1894, a daughter of the late Valentine and Henrietta Koeser Dickman. She received her early education in the district school at Ada and in October, 1921, she entered Evangelical and Reformed Deaconess Hospital at St. Louis where she was consecrated in May, 1925. Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Frieda Voss of Sheboygan; and a brother, Edwin, of Menchalville. A brother, Carl, also preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel. The Rev. Paul A. ARVIN DICKMANN cemetery #82 Arvin O. Dickmann, 44, a former Sheboygan resident, died at St. Nicholas Hospital, at 11 o'clock p.m. on Saturday. He was born in Neene, October 30, 1904, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dickmann. He was employed at the Kohler Co. until two years ago, when he moved to Miles City, Montana. Since March of this year he has lived with his parents at Schleswig. Survivors are two daughters, one son, his parents, and a sister, Mrs. Edwin Bartz, route 2, Elkhart Lake; two brothers, Edmond and a twin brother, Arno, of Neene. Services will be held at the Meiselwitz Funeral home at Kiel, at 1:30 o'clock on Wednesday. The Rev. C. L. Schmitt of Schleswig, will officiate. Burial will be held at the Kiel cemetery. CARL DICKMANN cemetery #82 Carl Dickmann, 42, Dies at Plymouth Death at the age of 43 years came to Carl Dickmann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Dickmann, at his home in Plymouth Saturday evening. The cause of his death is given as heart disease. Up until the time of his death he had enjoyed excellent health, and only a week ago he had paid a visit to his parents here. His wife and six children remain to mourn him. The oldest of the children, Edwin, is 18, and the other children are Edna, 15, Melvin, 13, Viola, 11, Leona, 8 and Helen, 3. Besides his parents, one brother and two sisters survive, Edward A., and Mrs. Frieda Voss of Kiel, and Miss Adelia Dickmann, at St. Louis, Mo., who is at present home on a vacation. The deceased was born Dec. 27, 1884, in the town of Herman. Twenty-one years ago he was married to Miss Clara Sonnemann. About 10 years ago he moved with his family from their farm in Meeme and he purchased the Baumann meat market, which he conducted until three years ago. Since that time he has lived in Plymouth. The deceased was a member of the Eagles, which organization had charge of the funeral, the Redmen, G. U. G., and the Beavers. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon, with service at the home in Plymouth, and burial will be made in the Kiel cemetery. - 1927 ******** Plymouth—Charles Dickmann, died suddenly of a heart stroke Saturday at his home here. Mr. Dickmann began to feel ill only a few minutes before his death. He called his wife who was in another room and she summoned a physician, but before the latter arrived, Mr. Dickmann had passed away. Mr. Dickmann had worked today Saturday. The deceased was born Dec. 27, 1884 in the town of Herman, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Dickmann who reside in Kiel at the ????. He was married to Miss Clara Sonnemann, also of the town of Herman, on Nov. 17, 1906. The survivors include his wife, six children, Edward, Edna, Melvin, Viola, Leona and Helen, his parents, two sisters, Mrs. Freda Voss and Mrs. Adelia Dickmann of Kiel and one brother, Edward Dickmann of Kiel. Mr. Dickmann conducted a meat market at Kiel until three years ago when he moved to this city and conducted another meat market. For the past year he has been employed by the firm of Feld and Feld. Mr. Dickmann was a member of the Germania society and the Beavers of Kiel and Hub City aerie, Fraternal Order of Eagles. Members of the aerie will meet in the aerie rooms to take part in the funeral services. The funeral will be held from the home. Burial will be in the Kiel cemetery. CLARA DICKMANN Mrs. Clara Gatzke, 66, wife of John Gatzke, 220 E. Elizabeth St., Plymouth, died Monday evening at Plymouth Hospital after a short illness. Born Dec. 29, 1886, in the town of Schleswig, Manitowoc County, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Sonnemann, she was married to Carl Dickmann in 1906. Before coming to Plymouth in 1923, the couple lived in Louis Corners in the Town of Meeme for seven years, and in Kiel for nine years. Mr. Dickmann died October 22, 1927. Nine years later, on Dec. 26, 1936, she was married to John Gatzke. Since that time she made her home in Plymouth. Mrs. Gatzke was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at Plymouth, the Ladies’ Aid Society at Louis Corners, and the Frauenverein GUG Germania Society of Kiel. Survivors are her husband; two sons, Eddie Dickmann, Thiensville, and Melvin Dickmann of Plymouth and three daughters, Mrs. Carl (Viola) Plotz and Mrs. Orlando (Leona) Bartelt of Plymouth, and Mrs. Gordon (Helene) Gibson in Japan. She is also survived by three stepchildren, Arbe Gatzke of Corning, Ark., Leo Gatzke of Sheboygan Falls, and Mrs. Clayton (Marie) Kohn of Kewaskum; four grandchildren; a brother, William Sonnemann of Colby, Wis., and a sister, Mrs. Max Boettcher of Louis Corners. Three children, her parents, one sister and two brothers preceded her in death. EDWIN A. DICKMANN cemetery #84 Edwin A. Dickmann, 73, a former Kiel tavernkeeper who had been residing near Maple Grove (Manitowoc County), died Thursday night in Sheboygan Memorial Hospital. A native of Sheboygan, he was born Jan. 21, 1893, a son of the late Valentine and Henrietta Koeser Dickmann. He married Laura Voss, Oct. 26, 1913, in the Town of Schleswig, following which he operated the Kiel tavern for many years. His wife died in December 1957. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Walter Bolget (Isobel); a sister, Mrs. Frieda Voss, and three grandchildren, all of Sheboygan. EMMA DICKMAN cemetery #56 Mrs. Arno Dickman, 38, of the town of Meeme, nee Emma Richter, passed away suddenly Friday evening while visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Richter, N. Fifteenth Street Sheboygan. Born in Sheboygan on May 12, 1909, she resided here until her marriage to Arno Dickman of the town of Meeme, when they moved to the present farm homestead. Survivors are her husband, her parents, seven children, (private). Five children preceded her in death. Dickmann of Kiel is Called to Rest on Sunday Kiel, Wis. – Mrs. Valentine Dickmann, a resident of Kiel, passed away at 2 o’clock on Sunday afternoon at her home on N. Third street, following a lingering illness. The deceased was formerly Miss Henrietta Koeser, daughter of Karl and Christina Koeser. She was born on May 8, 1863, in the town of Herman. On June 21, 1884, she was married to Valentine Dickmann in the town of Meeme. The couple then resided in towns of Herman and Meeme for some time and they also lived on the Koeser homestead near Ada for many years. For the past 26 years they have made their home on N. Third street in Kiel. Mrs. Dickmann is survived by her husband and three children, Miss Adelia Dickmann of St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Frieda Boss who resides in Kiel, and Edward Dickmann also of Kiel. OTTO DICKMANN cemetery #82 A funeral service for Otto Dickman of Kiel, who passed away at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, on Saturday morning, Nov. 17, was held at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, on Tuesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. VALENTINE DICKMANN cemetery #82 Rites Held Tuesday For Valentine Dickmann Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon for Valentine Dickmann, 81, who died at Sheboygan Sudnay. He had lived there with his daughter, Mrs. Frieda Voss since 1946. Funeral services were held from St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed church and burial was made in the Kiel cemetery. The Rev. E. L. Worthman had charge of the services. A native of Sheboygan county, he was born October 26, 1862 on a farm in Town Herman, near Franklin, a son of Arnold and Johanna Bierman, Dickmann, pioneer residents of the county. He was married to Miss Henrietta Koeser of Town of Herman June 21, 1884. Mr. Dickman operated farms in Town of Meeme and Town Herman before moving to Kiel in 1919. CLARENCE DICKRELL cemetery #81 Clarence Dickrell Dies Unexpectedly Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Clarence J. Dickrell, 47, of 918 Fourth Street, who died last week Wednesday night at St. Nicholas hospital, Sheboygan. He was stricken with a heart attack at his home earlier that evening. The services were held at St. Peter's United Church of Christ with the Rev. Vernon Jaberg, pastor, officiating. Burial was made in the Bethlehem United Church of Christ cemetery with the Rev. Carl Fried officiating. He was born November 16, 1916, near Hilbert, the son of Nicholas and Norma Dickrell The family moved later to the Town of Russell where he attended St. Ann’s Catholic school. On June 15, 1940, he was married to Luella Valleskey, of the Town of Schleswig. They lived in the townships where he was employed by the Valleskey Cheese Factory. For the past 15 years he was employed at the Leverenz Shoe Co. at New Holstein. Seven years ago he and his wife moved to Kiel. He was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, Kiel. Surviving are his wife; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Dickrell, New Holstein; nine sisters, Sister Mary Imelda Ann, Holy Family hospital, Manitowoc; Mrs. Edward Kasprzak, Mrs. LaVerne Minor, Mrs. Henry Turek, Mrs. Roland Mekka, all of Milwaukee; Mrs. Ervin Mytko, Mrs. Glenroy Greuel, and Mrs. Alphonse Faust, all of rural Elkhart Lake and Mrs. Wilmer Krebsbach, Fond du Lac; five brothers, Nicholas, jr., Sheboygan, Leo, Roman and Cletus, all of rural Elkhart Lake and Donald, New Holstein. LUELLA DICKRELL cemetery #81 Mrs. Luella Dickrell, 51, of 918 4th St., Kiel, died Monday evening at St. Nicholas Hospital. The former Luella Valleskey was born in the Town of Schleswig on Oct. 26, 1917, the daughter of the late William and Norma Valleskey, and was confirmed at Bethlehem United Church of Christ. She married Clarence Dickrell of the Town of Russell on June 15, 1940. The couple lived in Schleswig until moving to Kiel 12 years ago. Mrs. Dickrell was employed at the Leverenz Shoe Co. in New Holstein. She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Kiel. Her husband died in 1964. A number of cousins are the only survivors. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter's United Church of Christ with the Rev. John Baumann, pastor, officiating. EDWARD F. DIDIER cemetery #44 Edward F. Didier, 66, of 1318 S. 12th St., Manitowoc, died at 4:15 Tuesday at home. Funeral services will be at 11:15 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Mnaitowoc. He was born and raised here, but worked many years in Chicago where he married, where his sisters lived, and where he was buried on Wed. of last week. His father died a few years ago, but his mother, with whom he lived his final year, is still living and is in good health.


CARL DIEDERICHS cemetery #73 OLD SETTLER OF NEWTON IS CALLED BY DEATH After a lingering illness due to infirmities of old age, Carl Diederichs, one of the pioneers of the town of Newton, died at the home of his son, Edwin Diederichs, on the farm where he had lived for more than forty years. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon from the residence with Rev. D. W. Vriessen of the Reformed Church at Newton officiating. Mr. Diederichs was born at Elberfeld, Germany, on March 26th, 1835 and came to America with his parents in 1847, the family locating on the farm which is now owned by Edwin Diederichs, a son of the decedent, the place having been the home of the deceased all his life here. In 1877, Mr. Diederichs who was widely known in this city and in the community, where he resided, was married to Anna Carstens, who with three children survives. The children are Otto, town of Franklin, Sheboygan County; Mrs. Herman Gosse, of Elkhart Lake and Edwin Diederichs of Newton, who is secretary-manager of the Farmer’s Organization there. Mr. Diederichs was a civil war veteran having served for a year. He was prominent in affairs of his hometown and was honored by election to many offices during his life. HELEN DIEDRICH cemetery #89D Helen Diedrich, age 91, formerly of Two Rivers, died Monday morning, September 29, 1997, at Two Rivers Community Hospital. On November 25, 1933, she married Clarence C.(Kelly) Diedrich, at St. Lukes Catholic Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1985. Helen was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, the Ladies of Holy Redeemer and the Two Rivers Senior Center, where she was very active in the chorus and participated in bowling well into her 80's. She also loved crafts. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, one son and daughter-in-law, one sister, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Helen was also preceded in death by two brothers, Francis (Don) Tuch, Alvin Tuch and one sister, Mercedes Sosnosky.
