Charles Gauthier - Harriet Lafond 1887 wedding photo, Two Rivers, Wisconsin

Charles Louis Gauthier, Son of Louis Gauthier and Adélaïde "Etta" Meunier Charles, my great grandfather was a volunteer for the Two Rivers Life Boat Station, (now the U.S. Coast Guard Station), the photo was taken when he went to Sheboygan, Wisconsin to visit his sister and her husband Thomas Gagnon, who was the keeper of the Sheboygan Life Boat Station. This photo was taken in 1887 a few months prior to the wedding. As you can see, it is the same suit with a different tie and the beginnings of a mustache on the wedding photo.

The house later became a Verifine Ice Cream Store, operated by Nora "G" Smith, Oscar Gauthier, June and Robert Gauthier, Bill and Theresa (Gauthier) Henfer, Fritz & Ruth "Henfer" Glandt and renters later.
