Rites Held Tuesday For Nicholas Zorn
Funeral services were held yesterday, Wednesday for Nicholas Zorn, 85,
wh died Friday. The services were held from St. George Catholic church,
Elkhart Lake, in charge of the Rev. J.H. Goebel. Burial was made in the
St. Anna cemetery.
He was born on the Zorn home farm about two miles west of Kiel December
6, 1967. He married Emma Mueller at St. Anna November 26, 1891.
The couple made their home on a farm in Russell until 1927 when they
moved to Elkhart Lake. Survivors include the widow and five sons, Arthur,
Cataba; Emil, Plymoruth; Frank, Mr. Sterling, Illinois; and Alfred and
Nicholas, Jr., Elkhart Lake; a brother, August, and 12 grandchildren and
11 great-grandchildren.
