Weinkoetz and Carolina Leichtnam –born Town of Eaton – puppeteer and manager of the Casper Puppet Show – “also became interested in painting and decorating, making a business of it. His wife inherited a sum of money from her father and with this they built a house [the large house at 111 South Fifth Avenue]. He did all of the painting and decorating.
