John Rach Dies Monday Evening; Rites Thursday
John Rach, 86, 913 West Fremont street, Kiel, passed away at the St. Nicholas 
hospital in Sheboygan at 8 o'clock on Monday night. He had been confined there 
for the past 10 days.  His birth occurred in St. Ann on March 31, 1857, and he 
was the oldest child of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Rach. He was married to 
Miss Barbara Mayer of Holy Cross on June 2, 1883, and following marriage the 
couple operated a farm in St. Ann township in Calumet county until 1915, when 
he and his children moved to the present home in Kiel. Mrs. Rach preceded her 
husband in death, passing away on Sept, 15, 1913. Survivors are one son and 
five daughters, namely, Leo, at home; Mrs. Peter Schmitz, Little Chute; Mrs. 
Edward Gross, Marytown; Mrs, Gilbert Mersberger, Sheboygan; Mrs. Frank Riha, 
Two Rivers, and Mrs. William Zorn, Chilton. Twenty grandchildren and 14 great-
grandchildren also survive. Three sons and one daughter preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday morning at 9:30 a. m. at the 
Mieselwitz Funeral home in Kiel and at 10 a.m. at the Ss. Peter and Paul 
Catholic church in Kiel, the Rev. F. V. Kheil officiating. Interment will be 
in the St. Ann's Catholic church cemetery at St, Ann.  Mr. Rach was a member 
of the Holy Name society of the church and members will recite the rosary at 
7:30 o'clock on Wednesday night at the Ss. Peter and Paul church.

St. Anna — Mr. Peter Rash(sic), a young man of 27 years, died March 26th 
and was buried at St. Anna, March 29th.  The deceased had been suffering 
from an internal affliction for the last half year, when his only hope of 
recovery rested in an operation, which was performed on him, apparently 
with success, but alas! terminated so fatally.

Death Claims Mrs. Radder
Mrs. Minnie Radder, 83, passed away at 3:30 p.m. Monday at her farm
home in town of Eaton.
Born in Germany on Sept. 9, 1862, she came to America with her parents
and settled in town of Herman in 1870, and later the family moved to
town of Eaton. She was the daughter of Christian and Louise Heckmann
Henning.
On Nov. 6, 1884, she was married to Henry Radder and they located on
the Henning homestead in town of Eaton, and later moved to another farm
just north of town of Eaton.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Helmuth (Annie) Reichwaldt of Steinthal,
a son, Otto, on the homestead farm; a brother, August Henning of Kiel.
Her husband passed away Nov. 20, 1922. She was a member of the Bethleham
Evangelical and Reformed church, and of the Frauenverein.
Funeral services were held on Thursday at 1:15 p.m. at the Meiselwitz
Funeral home here and at 2 o'clock at the Bethlehem Evangelical and
Reformed church, the Rev. Charles Reppert officiating. Burial was made
in the church cemetery.

Town of Schleswig Citizen Succumbs 
Funeral services for William Radder, who passed away Friday at 6 p.m. 
in the town of Eaton, were held Tuesday at 2 o'clock from the home and 
from the Schleswig church. Burial was made in the Eaton cemetery with 
the Rev. August Hammann officiating.
Mr. Radder was born February 22, 1865 in the town of Mosel, and was 
married to Miss Frederiecka Roessler of Schleswig. They then settled on 
the farm which they occupied the greater share of their life. He was 
taken to the Plymouth hospital March 27 and their(sic) remaining there 
for about a week returned home.
He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Miss Elfrieda at home, Mrs. 
Theodore Schwalbe, and Mrs. Fred Damm, both living on the Calumet road, 
and one son Arthur at thome. Three sisters, Mrs. William Dedering of this 
city, Mrs. Otto Hansen of Fond du Lac, and Mrs. August Drews of Schleswig, 
and four grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Friedericka(sic) Radder, 87, widow of William Radder, died early today at her 
home in the Town of Eaton. She had been ill for the past four months.
She was born in Sassenhagen, Germany, on July 18, 1869, the daughter of Ludwig 
and Dorthea Ebert Roeseler. Confirmed in Germany in 1883, she came to this 
country with her parents the same year and settled in the Town of Schleswig.
On April 21, 1891, she was married to William Radder and the couple operated 
the Radder homestead farm in the Town of Eaton. Her husband died April 12, 1929. 
since then she made her home with a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur 
Radder, who have operated the farm since 1917. She was a member of Bethlehem 
Evangelical and Reformed Church in the Town of Schleswig and also belonged to 
the Ladies' Aid of the church.
Besides her son, she is survived by three daughters, Miss Alfreda Radder of the 
Town of Eaton, Mrs. Theodore (Elsa) Schwalbe and Mrs. Ida Damm, both of Collins; 
four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. she was also preceded in death 
by two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bethlehem Evangelical and 
Reformed Church. The Rev. Lloyd Weber will officiate and burial will be in the 
church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home at Kiel from 2 p.m. Friday until 
10:30 a.m. Saturday and then at the church from 11:30 a.m.
