Former Resident Dies
Funeral services were held Tuesdeay at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic
Church for Miss Magdalena Hein, 84, Evanston, Illinois.
Miss Hein, a former resident of Kiel, died at her home Saturday.
The Rev. George Kiefer was celebrant of the requiem Mass. Burial
was in the church cemetery.
Born September 5, 1879, in Calumet County she was a daughter of 
the late Anton and Mina Hein. The family settled in Kiel where she
attended school. Miss Hein later lived in Milwaukee, and had been
a resident of Evanston for the past 50 years. The only survivor is
a brother, John, of Wauwatosa.
